Projects undertaken by students in the Technology Education Department at Hinsdale Central rely on real world skill development and workflow. Due to this, the software used in the Tech-Ed program is never the "soft" or "lite" versions of industry standard software titles. Students are trained with software titles that are used in the real world, and those that they will face in their undergraduate careers wether they enter a trade school, community college, or one of the nation's finest four-year universities.
